Hi, I’m Noah Hait, and I am 17 years old and a Junior at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin.
My two sports that I love are football and track. My freshman year, I played on the JV football team. My sophomore year, I was a starting player on JV and played a significant role on our Varsity squad. Our team made it to Level Four of the WIAA Football play-offs. My Junior year, I was a starting Safety and Wide Receiver on our award-winning Varsity Team. We had a spectacular year and ended up becoming WIAA Division II State Champions! Please see my year in review video. I’ve enjoyed being part of our Varsity Track and Field Team for the last several years. My Junior year started out great when I broke the school record running the 55 meter dash in a record breaking 6.6 seconds! In my sophomore year I made Sectionals for the Varsity 4x400m team and jumping 19’3” in the long jump event.
I have been told by my peers and coaches that I have a great locker room presence and I’m a great leader. I pride myself on my abilities to not only rally us together in celebration, but also keep us together in heartbreak as well. I am very grateful to all my coaches and teammates I’ve been blessed to work with, thus far, and greatly looking forward to using my leadership training and skills for our entire team. In the off-season, I work just as hard as I train and lift in the weight room at 5:30am and after school daily, getting my body in shape for the upcoming football and track season. My commitment to these sports is very high, as I see myself having futures in both sports in college. One thing I really enjoy is volunteering every summer, for our Youth Camps as a coach for the youth football teams, grade 8 and below. I’ve also volunteered for 2 summers as a Junior Counselor for a Christian Youth Camp. I do have a huge heart to both kids, and adults alike, that have Downs Syndrome or any other special need.
Academically, I have a 3.52 GPA. I understand the importance of raising my GPA, and I’m working closely with my teachers to make sure that happens.
I have dealt with adversity and worked hard to overcome it. I spent many of my early years of my life in Foster Care with my older brother. My “late” birth mom was a pretty bad alcoholic, and my birth dad died when I was very young, and I never got to meet him. Fortunately, we were very blessed to have been placed with a loving, caring foster family who have always wanted the best for us and after 18 months they became our Adoptive Parents. They are loving, caring, generous parents and have always been supportive in all our endeavors, especially myself and all my sporting events, where they rarely missed a game or meet.
From a more personal standpoint, I put family and religion first. Being adopted for the past 8 years, I love my parents very much for all they’ve done for me, and I’m extremely grateful for the many, many things they have given me. I consider myself truly blessed to be with my adoptive family and I view it as a blessing from God, and thank him for it daily. I am a Christian and everything I have is because of Christ Jesus. I strive to live a morally strong life. Even though I still continuously see the wicked and the bad of this earth, I know God has a plan for me. I strive to encourage my peers and try to make them better people. I feel it is important to give back to our community. For the past two years, at my church, I have helped packed meals for needy families in Panama, typically packing over 150,000 meals, with the help of a whole lot of people.
I will continue to dream big and work hard! I look forward to see what God has in store for me in college, both academically and on the field. I want to thank you so much for taking your time reading this, and I greatly look forward to learning more about your Football and Track programs, and possibly be invited to your Junior Days or Football Camps.
