James Duarte '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is James Duarte and I am currently a freshman at Nathan Hale high school in West Allis, WI. I am 5'7 and 125 lbs. I play both wide receiver and corner back positions. I am interested in a career in business and would like to own my own fitness company/gym and work as a fitness trainer someday.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and out on the field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding  academic reputation in the field of business. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities.

I'm very committed to football and even in the off season I am dedicated and hard working. I do strength and endurance training Monday -Friday after school and I will be trying out for the track team this spring. I am very punctual and rarely miss practice both during the season and off.  I consider myself to be a good team player and I am always helping out my fellow teammates with whatever I can both on and off the field.
