Maximilian (Max) Bard '28 Recruiting Profile

Greetings Coaches. My name is Maximiian Bard and I have been playing basketball for about 4 years now. First and foremost academics come first for me because my goal is to play college basketball. I am coachable and have the mindset to listen and learn. I come from the middle of nowhere Alaska where there was no basketball basketball in my community. I played on the gravel everyday. I had to overcome adversities when I came to Anchorage to play. I was behind, but I trained and trained and found the true love of the sport. What sets me apart from others is raw talent and strength that can only get better with my passion and drive to get better. Once I get going it’s hard to stop me. I have a strong stance and I can lay down hard defense. My love for basketball has made me realize how important school is and training and playing with intensity. I hope you will consider me as an option for your school.
