Jamison Taylor '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jamison Taylor and I am a 6'1 Guard in Colorado Springs, CO.  Coming in as a Junior this 2022 year I am making an impact for my team and helping the 5 seniors that are ahead of me to finish their HS season as strong as they can. I love being someone that can be reliable in the clutch and be able to get all my teammates involved and keep the energy levels high when were playing on the court together. Being a quick learner and able to communicate with my team helps my teammates basketball IQ and their ability to grow and communicate as well. Basketball has been a part of my life and a passion ever since I can remember. My will to compete with athletes at their highest and the urge to win and be the best possible player I can be is what makes me strive for basketball.

Academics are also really important to me because bad grades wont get you anywhere so maintaining a 3.0 GPA is a must for me. I set myself to a high standard and want to strive to be the best student-athlete I can be. Good grades and high tests scores are a good gateway to getting more chances and opportunities with colleges. Being a Student has always been a top priority and I take it seriously.

My coaches tell me that my best asset is staying disciplined on the court and evaluating what the offense is going to do before they do it. At 6'1" it is a good height to have and I can  be versatile on who I am able to take on the court. But the most important thing is all the work to build my confidence, skills, and composure in situations in the offseason to get to where I am today and take in everything from my coaches to make an impact on the next level. I am excited to communicate with all the college coaches to be a potential fit in their program.
