Jack Guevara '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a member of the National Honor Society with a 3.4 academic average at Molloy.

I scored a 1190 on my initial SAT and am retaking it to see if I can do better.

I have a high IQ both in the classroom and on the court.

I am a floor general with a head up, pass first mentality, that sees the whole court and wants to get my teammates involved to create offensive confidence.

Offensively, I can shoot the 3 or penetrate and kick out but can also use my floater or midrange to score. I work the pick and roll and can move without the ball to shoot off the dribble if needed.

Defensively, I crash the boards, look up the court for the outlets and run the floor to fill the lanes. I have an above average handle and basketball IQ to identify defenses as not to play into traps. I am not afraid to take charges and will attempt steals in the appropriate sets.

Outside of basketball, I am interested in Sports Sciences,  possibly being a therapist on the meta-physical side to work with athletes that need assistance to sync their body and mind and find a clear path to their goals on and off the playing fields.
