Darius Chester '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello Future College Coach,

My name is Darius Chester.  My education is very important to me. I'm a student-athlete that is serious about playing collegiate ball at a high level. I am currently unhappy with my situation and looking for another school that can use my talent. I'm a big athletic combo guard that can handle and shoot the ball extremely well! Last year I was the team captain for 2016-17 basketball school year at The Taft School, I played a vital part in my  school basketball season 17-7 record. I was selected to CT All Tri-State Team.  I also played in the Adidas Gauntlet with Castle Knights - Athletics 17U. This team is sponsored by adidas and I enjoyed competing against some of the top high school basketball prospects in the nation. We competed at the Adidas Gauntlet series in Texas, Atlanta, South Carolina and Las Vegas. Those were high profile NCAA certified tournament events. I was overlooked by many schools throughout my recruitment process but I did not let that stop me. I can play multiple positions on both sides of the ball and I'm a very good 3pt shooter I hope you take the time out to view my videos. Thank you for reading my personal statement.
