Jahlil Manago '25 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a passion of mine since before I could even remember.  Basketball has helped me in many aspects of life that I have experienced, and the end goal of just competing at the next level has given me a reason to grind and work hard for everything that I do now. 

As an average-sized guard from the state of Iowa, exposure has always been a concern when it comes to continuing my basketball career. That is one of the reasons I am starting to invest my time and effort into this program. In my previous 2022 summer, I got the chance to travel across the country with my AAU team, Martin Brothers, and perform against some top competition in my grade level. I was also invited to a few camps in the past including the Pangos Frosh/Soph, Crossroads invitational, and most recent CP3 rising stars camp. Overall, this summer has been great in regards to getting my name out there for colleges and others to pick up and help me get to where I desire to be. 

My name is Jahlil Manago. I am a 6'2, 165 lbs, incoming sophomore born and raised in Waterloo Iowa. I currently attend Waterloo West High which has a 4a basketball program and is a part of the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC). In my freshman year of high school, I ended with a 3.2 gpa.
