Personal Statement
Hello,
My name is Nigel Harris and I am a 6'0 180lb PG, with a 4.1 GPA in the class of 2025, at Oxon Hill High School. My goal is to be able to play college basketball by securing an academic and basketball scholarship at a highly competitive institution, or university. Currently I am the starting PG for my high school and travel program. I have been playing basketball since I was 4yrs old.
What makes me different from other recruits, outside of my academics, is I have a high IQ, am able to be an extension of the coach on the floor, make it a point to find open players and get them involved, I'm willing to do the dirty work such as taking charges and diving on the floor, and more than confident when it comes to either taking the last shot or making the right play. I enjoy not only playing but studying the game.
