Jaylin Albury '20 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Jaylin Christopher Albury I live in Pasadena, Maryland, When I was younger an playing basketball people would tell my Dad that my Mom and Him should look into transferring me to another school as I got closer to High School because my Schools program wasn't always sitting at the top and had a huge following. My Mom and Dad felt as long as I was doing well in School they wouldn't transfer me to a winning basketball program and it didn't phase me at all, because in my mind I felt like I can help my school become more respected from an athletic standpoint and I was going to make people notice my school and myself. I just want to play I went through a Sophmore season of 17 loses and 5 wins and I have also experienced a 13 win season and a playoff run to the regional finals. Today my team and I have higher expectations because of the culture change that started 2 years ago in which I became the starting point guard 2 games into my sophmore season and have never looked back, everyday is a challenge and I have to experience them to get better in whatever I do thats why I strive to push my teammates by showing unselfishness and a desire to be better no matter what the name is on the other teams jersey!!!
