Personal Statement
My name is Leyton Calzado and I am a senior at Northeast High School in Pasadena, Maryland, and have been on the varsity soccer team since freshman year. I currently play club soccer for Future Monarchs 03. My jersey number is #5 and I play Outside back. At this time, I am still uncertain of what I want to study in college; but I do want to play soccer at the college level. I am willing to play any position coaches ask me to play.
Key attributes that I posses as a soccer player:
- I am coachable, with a high IQ of the game
- Keen awareness and vision of the field
- Versatile on and off the ball with pace
My ultimate goal is to achieve a bachelors degree while advancing my soccer career at the collegiate level.
