Jeremiah Phillips '23 Recruiting Profile

My mother and father told me when I was 1 years old, I picked up a basketball, and since I can remember, I never put it down. I started playing AAU basketball at 7/8 years old in Atlanta Georgia and I have continue playing both school and AAU until now. I have fallen in love with the game of basketball and all that it has to offer. I have tried other sports, but none compares to the passion I have for basketball. I hope to be playing the game as long as I can. This sport has taught me how to be a team player. It has taught me how to be a leader. This game has taught me patience. It has taught how to be a critical thinker and a problem solver depending on the situation. I have learned how to take criticism and grow from it to become a better ball player. As your team player I hope to continue to grow with the team and bring our team many accomplishments in this game.
