Sam Lieberman Jun...Personal Statement
I began playing basketball at the age of seven and have aspired to play at the collegiate level ever since. Basketball has taught me life lessons such as teamwork, goal setting and time management. I am a team player and take pride in my shooting, ball handling, basketball IQ and defensive skills. Being captain of my high school team, I lead by example and have a strong work ethic on and off the court.
Academically, I have maintained a high GPA and have been on my school’s honor roll every semester since ninth grade. I volunteer for several local organizations in my community, including the church my AAU team is associated with, Riverside Church. My goal is to attend a College or University where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the basketball court.
