Michael Crowley '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Crowley and I'm a rising senior at Saddle River Day School, Saddle River, New Jersey.  I believe in working hard in the classroom, on the basketball court and in everything I do.  I am an A student, a member of the Teen Service Club, a member of ASCPG ( a group of teenagers that chaperone special needs children on a 1 week visit to Lourdes, France every Easter), a youth group member at my parish and I have been a starter at PF/C for the varsity basketball team for the past 3 seasons.  I believe the key parts to my game are my durability, aggressiveness, rebounding ability and my back to the basket post moves. I value defense over offense and during my freshman year averaged more rebounds (8.8) per game than points (8.2), earning the coach's award.  During my sophomore season, my game averages were 10.9 pts & 8.4 rebounds per game, earning the best rebounder award. This season my averages were 6.3 pts & 10.4 rebounds per game as our team enjoyed our 1st 20 win season in school history.   I have been named to the All League Honorable Mention Team my freshman & sophomore years and 2nd team All League my junior year.  Playing basketball on the college level is a goal that I strive to reach everyday. My character, maturity and coach-ability are my strongest assets, as evidenced by my high academic & athletic performance.
