Although athleticism is a great requirement for joining your team I think my ability to lead, my enthusiasm to learn and my willingness to sacrifice would make me a valuable asset to your team.
I believe what makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is that I am a strong player who is willing to listen and take instructions. I know my game, I study my game but I am not perfect. I am diligent but extremely coachable.
From an academic standpoint my strongest subjects would be history and mathematics. History teaches me lessons on what not to repeat if it is detrimental to our advancement. Math allows me to be calculated in every approach that I take. I liken both of these attributes to my ability to play sports. It would be a dream to be part of an institution that would help further my academic ambitions and bolster my athletic abilities.
