Since starting in 7th grade, I had always liked playing basketball but in my sophomore year I was blessed to be on a fantastic team, I was surrounded by talent and some of my best friends. Throughout the course of that year, I learned to love the game of basketball and appreciate it on a whole different level. I learned how to sacrifice for my team, encourage those around me, work hard, and play for the Lord. This is something that I want to continue throughout my college experience. My goals academically for college are no different from my high school goals: keep exceptional grades and graduate with honors.
