Norman "Blake" Nevins '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Nevins and I am a 6'4" sophomore shooting guard for Cypress Ranch High School and my AAU team, TNBA Elite.  I also play the point guard position.  I work hard to be the best player and teammate I can be by taking the time to improve every aspect of my game.  I enjoy being a student of the game and have a high basketball IQ.

I attend Cypress Ranch High School, a 6A school, in Cypress, TX (Northwest Houston).  As a sophomore, I was a starter for my team and we earned a playoff berth in UIL District 17-6A.  My teammates and I became Bi-District Champions.  I was honored to be selected All-District Honorable Mention and All-District Academic. 

I am a starter for my AAU team, TNBA Elite and we play in local and national tournaments.  Last summer, TNBA won its way to the Elite 8 in the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana (Platinum Bracket).  We also made the Final 4 at the BigFoot Hoops Las Vegas Classic.

I am also a strong student and hold a 4.0 GPA while taking upper-level courses.  After high school, my goal is to earn a scholarship to play college basketball and take my game and education to the next level.

I have attended outstanding camps at the University of Texas and Texas A&M University.  I am very interested in attending other elite or prospect camps this summer across the country.  Thank you for your consideration.
