Christopher J Cooper '24 Recruiting Profile

I am commonly called by my friends, CJ Cooper. I have been playing basketball since the age of five years old.  My parents encouraged me to play all sports since a young age. I played soccer, baseball, swimming and ran track. I always gravitated back to basketball.   I love to play basketball because it is fun for me and I aspire to continue to play competitively on the collegiate level.  I feel as though I am a competitive player.  When I was younger, my coach, nicknamed me the "Wolverine" because of my defensive aggression.  Offensively,  my preference is to ensure my team members equally make big plays.  I am looking for a program that prioritizes academics and helps athletes build character both on and off the court.  I am raised in a christian household so faith is also of the utmost importance to me.
