John McFarland '22 Recruiting Profile

I am first a team-oriented player. I get along well with teammates and want to play and succeed in my role. I’m also extremely coachable and willingly accept advice and instruction. I believe one of the best things about my game is my habit of never letting a mistake or missed shot continue to affect my effort, hustle, and confidence on either end. This next play mentality has allowed me to be successful shooting the basketball. During the 2020-21 season I was top ten in the nation in three point field goals made with 124 (according to maxpreps), and set a program record for three point field goals made in a game with 11. I was raised with an emphasis on character development and character remains an advantage for me on and off the court. I deeply love the game of basketball and am committed to improving in my areas of needed growth and becoming even more elite in my stronger skills.
