Personal Statement
Hello, I am Jared Young. I am now 15 years old, I am 6'1 and 180 pounds. I am looking to play high academic division three basketball. I am a hard worker, I am dedicated to the game, and I am constantly improving. My father passed when I was 12, and he always told me to exude excellence. I try and hope to live by his words today. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am on multiple student leadership committees in my school. I have attended several camps including John Thompson Hoops Academy, Morgan Wootten Basketball Camp, York College Basketball Camp, and One on One Basketball Camp, where I have won awards such as, foul shot champion, team champion, one on one champion, and best offensive player.
