A.J. Swenney '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is A.J. Swenney. From a very young age, I have loved the game of basketball. My earliest memories all involve me running around and dribbling with a basketball in my hand. My love for this game has remained, and since then I have become increasingly interested with playing the game at the next level. Currently, I attend Cape Henry Collegiate where I hold a 3.7 GPA. One of my favorite subjects in school is math because it teaches that no matter how hard a problem can seem, there is always a way to fight around it. 

I'm a point guard with high IQ, the ability to control the pace of the game, facilitate the offense, score and be a pesky defender on and off the ball.  I'm an elite ball handler with quick speed, shooting range and I know how to get to my spots on the floor. I've been the starting point guard on my varsity team since my sophomore year and over the past two seasons I've earned all conference honors.                                                                                                                             

I eat and sleep the game of basketball, I'm a gym rat and would love the opportunity to play the next level while continuing my education.
