Joey Luna '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joey Luna and I live in Belvidere, IL which is about 70 miles NW of Chicago. I am enrolled at Rockford Lutheran High School where I take multiple Honors classes and maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA. As a Freshman I played Varsity Baseball, JV Basketball and of course Golf.  I started playing occasional golf when I was seven but started playing everyday in 2021. Golf is my passion but I do love basketball as well. I finished the 2024 Golf season with an 2.7 handicap. I won the Big North Conference Tournament and contributed to our team finishing 4th in the State Final Tournament.

With personal workouts and continued play and practice, I aspire to play golf at the highest level possible while trying to find the best college that fit me as a person. I will be playing in numerous regional and state tournaments this summer (2024).
