I started playing basketball in 6th grade and have fallen in love with the sport ever since.  I was always the tallest so I have been playing forward/center since I started playing. I always strive to work hard in practice and never give up. I started my high school career during the pandemic which limited how many games I could play. Shortly after my freshman season ended I was at tryouts for my AAU team and I tore my ACL. It was a long recovery with 2 surgeries because I had arthrofibrosis, but I kept pushing every day to get back. I was not able to play club basketball the summer after. During the last month and a half of my sophomore school season, I was cleared to play again. I worked harder than ever to get back on the court. I have wanted to play in college ever since my coaches started asking me. I have the height and strength to work harder and beat my defenders in the post. I try to push my teammates to be the best they can be and get the most out of practices.
