Geoffrey Kam '24 Recruiting Profile

I enjoy playing golf competitively and continue improving both in golf and academically. In addition to my passion for golf, ever since I was young, I have always been intrigued by how spacecraft and aircraft, such as fighter jets, operate. After taking AP Physics 1, I became further intrigued by subjects involving physics and mechanics, allowing me to think differently, rather conceptually, opening a new path of interest. That gravitates my motivation to dive deep to understand their mechanics and designs. Mechanical engineering with a focus on aeronautics not only is one of my areas of interest but civil engineering is another great area of interest.

Outside of academics and sports, I enjoy coming up with ideas for architectural designs, as well as playing musical instruments such as viola and drums, and drawing. In addition, I truly consider myself a people person, as I genuinely enjoy being around people, whether it is offering assistance or collaborating on projects. I was a summer camp counselor at a golf course, helping golfers improve their golf swings, and giving them the best camp experience.
