Personal Statement
As a dual-sport athlete (golf and basketball) at Holland Hall in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I'm an organized person and my academics are my top priority. Holland Hall is arguably the top prep school in Oklahoma and has challenged me both in and out of the classroom. I believe this will prepare me for the academic and athletic challenges of a top university. I hope to pursue a degree in the medical field, however, at this time I haven't decided on a specific major.
Playing college golf is both a dream and passion. In the 2019 summer I had a stress fracture in my lower back that prevented me from playing golf from mid June to mid December. I’m 100% now and I’m excited to get back at golf. I've grown up with the full support of my family, always being encouraged to set goals and chase my dreams. My ultimate goal is to play professionally and I understand that it starts now with putting in countless hours of practice and building a foundation of a strong work ethic. I play an extensive year-round golf schedule (with the exception of during basketball season), always trying to challenge myself by playing against the best junior players possible. I believe with the right attitude and a strong work ethic, I can accomplish anything.
