I have been playing the sport of Ice Hockey since I was 4. It was my first love. Growing up in the south, however, does not allow many opportunities to play the sport of hockey at a high level. Currently, I am looking to play at a prep school or junior level, then pursue my dreams of playing collegiate hockey.
On the ice I try to be as coachable as I can by paying close attention while the coach is explaining something, leading the drills, and helping my teammates if they don't understand something. I always want to be the guy my teammates can come to if they have a question.
In the classroom I like to challenge myself by taking classes that may be out of my comfort zone naturally. In doing this I always strive to keep a high GPA, while also having fun. My two favorite subjects are Chemistry and American History.
Outside of school I try to take opportunities to help my community. That may be by making sandwiches for the less fortunate or by helping out with a local farm.
In the end I want to find a college where I can push myself academically, athletically, and find passions for new things.
