I started playing hockey when I was 4 years old and I remember being told by my parents that I needed to always work hard at practice/games and my academics. I am a student before I am an athlete. I know the expected commitment and I have the work ethic that is needed in order to accomplish my goals. I think my greatest attributes as a player are my strength on my skates, vision on the ice, stick handling ability, quick feet and I am a team player. I not only want myself to improve but my teammates, as well. I am very dedicated on the ice and off the ice. I train with my team and on my own daily. I am hardworking, coachable, mentally strong, positive minded, have great leadership abilities and very ambitious. My plan in college is to study Finance/ Accounting and I want an opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing collegiate hockey in the future.
