Tai Waldmann '24 Recruiting Profile

Being a junior in highschool now, I have been on a lot of teams, met a lot of people, and played under many coaches.  I have learned a lot about myself in these three years of highschool.  I came into highschool thinking I was going to be a scorer, but turns out my best ability is playmaking.  I have played hockey for a long time, but in the off season I picked up golf.  If you don't play golf let me give you an inside scoop, it's all in the head. Playing golf has helped me handle emotional problems when I am in a game.  Now being a junior I am a leader on the team.  The freshman and sophmores are looking up to me as an example. This adds not stress, but pride and inspiration to play my hardest and be the best person I can on and off the ice.  I have been a captain multiple times and I think it is due to the fact that I try to inspire my teammates to be their best selves.  I am looking for a program that will help me climb the "ladder" of life.  I believe I have what it takes to be in your program.
