Hello College Coaches,
My name is Nicholas Skliarenko, a 2020 graduate from Old Bridge High School in Old Bridge, New Jersey. I am a defenseman on the NJ Titans U18AAA Elite travel team as well as the Old Bridge High School Hockey Team. Ever since I stood on skates for the first time when I was eight years old, hockey just went my way and I fell in love with it. My goal ever since then is to be a professional ice hockey player.
I have been playing hockey my whole life and there is nothing else I love more in this world than the game. To go to University and play for ice hockey program would be a dream come true. I have been doing everything I need to in academics and hockey and I believe I have what it takes to play to your expectations. I am interested in attending Universities with ice hockey programs because of their school’s academic reputation and strong men’s ice hockey teams.
On the ice, I am the leading defensemen for the NJ Titans U18AAA Elite and I have been the leading defensemen for the NJ Stars for the three seasons and I have also played varsity for three years for my high school, making the playoffs this past season. I plan to obtain Bachelor of Finance/Business Engineering. I have a 4.25 GPA and I take honors and AP classes in school. In addition, I volunteer at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ and the American Cancer Society to help out in the local community.
I played 2017-2018 season for U18AA, 2018-2019 - U16AA.

- Sergei Viktorovich Starikov is a Russian ice hockey coach, who competed as defenseman for the Soviet national team. Sergei Starikov won 9 national titles in the Soviet Union. Participating in 3 Olympic Tournaments, Sergei won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal. Sergei Starikov was New Jersey Devils Defensemen from 1989-1990.
