Hockey is more than just a sport for me, it's a way of life that defines who I am. From the time I put on skates when I was three, I fell in love with the speed, physicality, and intensity of the game. When I'm on the ice, I'm in my element and nothing else matters.
Playing hockey has taught me important lessons about being a good person on and off the ice. Hockey players need to show good sportsmanship and respect for opponents, teammates, coaches, and officials. I‘ve learned to be responsible for my actions and I try to have a positive attitude even when things aren’t going the way I want them to go.
Hockey has also taught me the importance of discipline and time management. Because I’ve spent so many hours of my life training and practicing to be a better hockey player, I’ve developed a strong work ethic. I know that my experiences as a hockey player have made me a better person and have prepared me to face challenges that come my way. Hockey is my passion and I am excited to take my game to the next level by playing in college.
