Nick Krus '23 Recruiting Profile

I knew coming into high school that I wanted to take lacrosse to the next level.  My goal is to study business as well as play on a winning lacrosse team.  I started playing attack and I was asked about playing goalie one tournament.  Our goalie was unable to play and they asked me to fill in for  him.  I allowed a few goals, but I also saved a lot, which gave me more confidence as a lacrosse player, in that I can play any position.   I have attended UNC's goalie camp and True Lacrosse's King of the Crease camp this year to improve on my skills.  I have been told I am a very coachable player.  I am also a team player.  I know in my position as goalie, communication is very important and my teammates trust in what I am telling them.
