Conor Halpin '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking student athlete hoping to obtain college degree in Engineering. My ideal university is one that has a strong academic ranking in Engineering and a competitive lacrosse program ideally at the D1 level.

As a Cranford high school junior, I am both a 3-year varsity wrestler and lacrosse athlete.  As a starting wrestler I have placed in NJ State District tournament, and qualified for Regional tournament both Freshman and Sophomore years.  I am also a two-time All County and All Conference award recipient.  As a lacrosse player, I am a strong 2-way midfielder that also takes face-offs. I also play club lacrosse at the AA level, and have played for some of the top New Jersey teams including Leading Edge BBL lacrosse and currently Tri-state. This fall, I was the FLG in 3D tournament MVP, and 1st team all league during the Spring. I look to continue my on field success into upcoming lacrosse events. 

As a competitive student athlete I am looking to make a significant contribution to a strong university both academically and athletically.  I feel my abilities and dedication both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field will be an asset to any college I might attend.
