Eleven years ago I started my lacrosse career. Throughout countless tournaments, games, wins, and losses, the game has impacted my life. I feel that the biggest moment in my career was getting moved up to varsity as a freshman to play in Section 2 Class B championship game. This was a big moment for me even though the game ended in a loss because it taught me that the teams goal was not far from being achieved. The loss was only another chance to grow not only as a player but as a person.
After this moment I took bigger steps in my career like spending more time in the gym, drilling and watching film. After seemingly endless practices and study sessions in school, I soon realized that my work was paying off and that I could achieve my goals if I put the work in. The coaches and teammates I was privileged to play with taught me to work hard and to dedicate myself to my passion.
