Personal Statement
- My goal as a student-athlete is to balance a rigorous academic schedule with my passion for soccer. I aspire to become a professional soccer player, a goal fueled by my love for the sport and my drive to compete at the highest level, while also pursuing a degree in finance to prepare for my future after soccer. I’ve been playing competitive soccer since I was 3 years old, and I know that my dedication, discipline, and resilience are qualities that will add to your team’s success. I’m a versatile player, able to adapt and, regardless of the positions I have said I can play, I have performed at a high level in any position on the field, which allows me to be a flexible asset depending on the team’s needs. My ability to remain focused under pressure and constantly work to improve makes me an asset on the field. Off the field, I’ve taken on leadership roles, as a player for my high school soccer team and Chess Team at school, making our way to state championships in the latter. Academically, I’m consistently among the top students of my class, and I’ve maintained a strong GPA while committing to a demanding training schedule. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your program and am confident that my drive, discipline, and passion will make me a valuable addition to the team. I look forward to the possibility of being part of such a respected program.
