I fell in love with the game of baseball at 8 years old. While I enjoy many other sports, baseball is where I strive to improve everyday. I am fortunate to attend one of the top high schools in the country and be coached by some incredible mentors. These men have taught me the value of hardwork, leadership, and putting the team above myself.
As the youngest son of a retired Phoenix Police Officer who was badly injured in the line of duty, I have learned not to take this beautiful life for granted. Overcoming adversity is a core of my beliefs and goals. My sister attended Texas Christian University and now is in a doctoral program at Baylor University. My brother graduated from Northern Arizona University. I've learned a great deal from them about working hard for my future.
Even as a young 2021 high school graduate, I am eager to seek out a school that will fulfill me academically and athletically. I want to leave my schools and teams better than I found them!

- Masen Schechterle (2021 3B, Phoenix, AZ) roped a double over the center fielder's head in his first trip to the plate, showing a balanced two-strike approach. Schechterle has a polished plan at the plate and flashes power to all fields. Masen Schechterle (2021 3B, Phoenix, AZ) has a mature and well refined swing that is both simple and creates some bat speed. A bit more strength on his 6-0/165 frame could add lots more bat speed. Top 10 IF Velocity, top 15 1-10 split out of 220 participants.

- 0/14/18 - 5-foot-11-160 pounds. Candidate for the player to show the biggest improvements from previous looks. His 7.21 60-yard dash and 92 mph exit velo both represent huge jumps, and despite some length on the back side of his swing, Schechterle really drove some balls during his round of BP with big strength in his hands/wrists. Defensive future is likely in a corner OF spot or 1B. On the mound, throws a FB that fades out to the arm side that tops out at 80 mph. Secondary stuff, CB (65-70 mph) and CH (72-74 mph) are both throw for strikes but lack movement and intent to be forces at the next level.
