I come migrant parents that came from Mexico over 20 years ago. My parents did not receive a education any higher than middle school since they could not afford high school back home. I will be the first in my family to graduate high school in May and be the first to attend college in the fall term. We are financially limited and soccer can be a way I can pay for my college tuition. I am in the Top 10% in my class and also a key player on the high school team. I am recognized by the team with leadership skills, work ethic, and determination to win. I want to do what's best for the team and help in every way possible.
