Mats Dorsam '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Mats Dorsam, a 2005 born False 9 from the class of 2023. I am currently attending Glenlyon Norfolk School, an IB school in Victoria British Columbia. I have been playing soccer since I could walk and my ultimate goal is to make it as a professional in this sport. I am currently playing for Van Isle Wave, the academy system for Pacific FC, a team in the Canadian Premier League, I also have experience playing with Team British Columbia. 

On the field the main aspects to my game are speed and acceleration, physical strength, shooting and finishing as well as being a technically sound player with an eye for the decisive pass. I have also been described as a player who can "play in a phone booth" because of my neat and tidy dribbling technique. 

On the academic side of things, I am a strong student in my classes, and I have completed over 120 hours of service, showing that I am a leader not just on the pitch, but also in the classroom and in the community. For my post secondary education, I'm interested in a degree related to physical health. I hope you consider me for your program.
