My name is Tristan Durflinger, Outside Back for Eric Yamamoto's U19 MLS Next De Anza Force in San Jose, California.
I've played for highly respected coaches and with extremely talented players throughout my youth career. My clubs include 5 years with the San Jose Earthquakes Academy and 1 year with Barcelona Residency Academy in Casa Grande, Arizona.
I am very comfortable using both feet. I go to bed and wake up early. I train most mornings before school working on my technical, agility, and endurance. I am cautious with what I put into my body. I want to be the best version of myself, my teammates deserve no less.
I graduated in June of 2023 but exercised a GAP year to rehab from an injury I received last March during training. As a result, I missed the recruiting showcases in spring and summer of 2023.
I feel stronger than before my injury and have utilized my rehab time to add some well-needed weight and muscle. Injuries happen, I believe it's what you do with that downtime that counts!
To better utilize my GAP year, I coach for Mogility Soccer in the San Jose Bay Area under Founder and Director Matt Marquess. Working with children and teaching the game I love has made me a better person and player.
I am close to receiving my real estate license to add some work experience while I wait to enter college in the fall of 2024 to study business.
My pillars in life are God, family, education, and soccer. I make friends along the way and cannot wait for my future to unfold. My goal is to pursue college soccer at the highest level.
My updated game film will be available soon! Please FOLLOW my NCSA profile to be immediately notified.
