Jivan Achar '21 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is my life. I live and breath it. I have been playing soccer ever since I can remember and when I play, it's the highlight of my day. I remember really beginning to love soccer around 7th grade, and as I am already a very vocal person, I instantly became a leader on my team, both with my voice and my hard-working attitude. Recently I have had the luxury of training in Barcelona, and it was then that I was able to work with coaches from Spain to approach my game from a different angle. As a center back, I feel like my closing speed is one of my most unique attributes, and as I have always dreamed of playing in college, I hope to use my skills on and off the field to fulfill my ambition for high level soccer.
