Pierce Lopez 2007...Personal Statement
One moment in my soccer career that truly impacted me was being invited to the Puerto Rican U17 National Team tryouts in August 2022. I was playing a year up and although I was not selected for this national team, it inspired me to work harder. I have also been given the opportunity by my club to train and play with the u19 squad. Playing up 1 and even 3 years gave me the confidence to grow more as a player. I am fortunate enough to have been selected at a very young age to Oakwood Soccer Club. Through hard work, commitment and my parents’ support ,I have maintained at this club for the past ten years. As a captain of my 2007 Oakwood squad, I enjoy taking leadership and working in a team.
