Orlando Soler '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was seven years old. After my first game, I knew the field was where I was meant to be. By playing soccer, I have learned that a team needs to work together. We have to take our mistakes as a learning opportunity. After each game, I reflect and make changes for the next. On the field I have to be the best version of myself because I not only represent my family, but I also represent the team, the coach, and the organization. 

I  want to continue volunteering in helping my community. I believe lending a helping hand is beneficial for all parties. My academic goals are to continue getting good grades and have a good SAT score. This will help me get accepted into an excellent college and help me pursue my dreams. I don’t give up when challenges come my way. I learn how to deal with them and move forward.
