Winning and scoring in the Georgia State Championship as a freshman was the highlight of my high school career as of now. Although my main focus was not on my high school team. During this freshman year, I played for UFA-Norcross in Classic 1. As sophomore year came to a close, I quickly developed both my physical and technical attributes that would soon help me to separate from the rest in classic 1, and play National League. During this transition however, my biggest and only injury yet (ACL tear) took me out of the game for 10 months. This resulted in me not being able to play club in the fall season. While for many this would have ended their dreams of playing at the collegiate level, I went through as fast as a recovery as possible, aiming to be ready for my junior year high school season. Luckily I was able to restart play February of 2017. After missing the first several games of the season, I was able to score 29 goals and 12 assists at the attacking midfielder position for Atlanta International School. The coach wanted me to play attacking mid, although I am a striker because he wanted to allow enough time for my injury to heal completely. It is now 14 months since my surgery. I was named Most-Valuable Player on my team. With the experience that I have had from high school soccer and club, it will drive me to be one of the key members of a college program. This year I intend to play National League for Atlanta Fire United, while finishing my senior year playing at the same high school. My coach is name is John Ward ([email protected]). He produced a testimonial that he would be happy to send you.
