Jackson Scheumann '22 Recruiting Profile

Playing collegiate soccer has been my dream for as long as I can remember.  I fell in love with soccer when I was three years old.  I am motivated and energized by the strategic teamwork it takes to be successful on the pitch.  I am a passionate student athlete.  My family, my education, and my teams are what's most important in my life.  I am a captain for my high school team.  I take that honored leadership role very seriously.   As a leader, I do whatever is necessary to make my teammates and team more successful both on and off the pitch.  Competition mimics life in so many ways.  How we learn to win, how we learn to lose, how we learn to overcome obstacles are lessons we will take with us throughout our lives.  I take great pride working hard to pursue my goals and to share my love and respect for the sport and my school.  This sport and my teams have given so much to my life.   I cannot imagine my life without soccer, teammates, and coaches.  It's not just a game for me, it's a lifestyle.
