Alex Dubov '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m an aspiring young British goalkeeper who is looking to play at the next level while also getting a degree. After university i’d love to carry on my footballing skills to an even higher level in the professional game. I am 17 years old (born 2006) and am currently studying at Ardingly College where i am in the 1st football team. I also  play outside of school for Kingstonian FC in partner with Nigel James Academy where I am captain for the team. Furthermore, I train with the kingstonian team first team (Div 8 in England football) and I’ve been selected to travel with the team to matches. Last summer in august 2023 I also played for a professional football club in Cyprus called Pafos fc, where I trained with them for 2 months and played in a tournament in Spain, pinda de mar called ‘the cup’ were i played and started against Barcelona and Real Betis. In December 2023 I was scouted by Portuguese professional team in the top division of Portugal called Famalicao. Their u19 won the Portuguese league last year and played in the UEFA Youth League. I was invited for a 1 week trial where I trained with the u19 and u23s, and I have been invited for another trial later in the year. I have also been at English academies throughout my career. I was at Brighton develop centred for 3 years and in that time I was invited for a 6 week trial at Brighton Academy where I impressed and received another two 6 week trial after, so I spent 18 weeks training and playing for brighton where I played against numerous English academies.
