Personal Statement
Soccer has always been a part of my life. This "beautiful game" has developed me physically, taught me how to work under pressure, and led me to great friendships. Most importantly, through soccer I have learned the value of setting goals and staying dedicated to achieving those goals. I am committed to putting in the extra effort to make my team stronger. As an athlete, I maintain a high level of composure and stay calm and collected on the ball. I also possess the speed, soccer IQ, and the ability to play multiple positions making versatility one of my key strengths.
While I value the game of soccer, I believe only the best players demand excellence in all areas of their lives. I hold myself to high standards both academically and personally. As a student-athlete, I am not locked into a particular region or level. Rather, I hope to find a university where I can contribute to the team’s success, develop my technical skills, and obtain a great education. I bring a relentless commitment to excellence both on the pitch and in the classroom while offering versatility as both a midfielder and defender.
I currently play in the Frontier League for the MLS Next team, Louisiana TDP Elite. Because of coaches who believe in the talent in our state, my teammates and I have been given the opportunity to play against the best players in the country. I am thankful for this chance and welcome the challenges it brings as we face tough competition.
