Lewis Preau '26 Recruiting Profile

I am Lewis Preau. I am 16 and a junior at Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, LA. My goal as a student-athlete is to contribute to a college team that values athletic excellence and academic achievement. I am determined to exceed my limits, improve my skills, and grow as both a competitor and a teammate.

Athletically, I bring a strong work ethic, captainship, and a passion for the sport. My drive to constantly improve sets me apart, and I always want to elevate not only my performance but also the performance of those around me. Whether in practice or a game, I am dedicated to giving 100% effort and learning from every experience.

Academically, I understand the importance of balancing athletics and education. I have maintained high academic standards while competing at a high level, showing my good time-management skills and dedication to both parts. My ability to do well in a very rigorous academic setting at Ben Franklin while handling the demands of an everyday practice schedule relates to my discipline and determination.

What makes me different from other athletes is my adaptability and leadership. My ability to remain calm and focused under pressure and constantly looking for ways to support and inspire my teammates shows. My ultimate goal is to play at a school where I can continue to grow as an athlete and a person, contributing to the success of the team and the community as a whole.
