Philip Membrino '20 Recruiting Profile

    I have been playing soccer since I was five years old.  When I began, I played all positions, and eventually started playing defense until I switched over to Club Soccer.   At that time, I started to play a little goalie and I soon realized that it was my favorite position to play.  I have been playing ever since.  When I first started playing, I got pretty angry when I let in a goal.  But, I had to work very hard to build up my mental toughness and remember that this is a team sport - and that the team let them shoot to begin with.

     In those years up until now I have worked very hard to become the best goalkeeper that I can be,  and I hope to continue to play in highschool and college.  In school, I strive to get the best grades that I can,  and I have a strength in math and science. In these two subjects, and all others, I seek extra challenges to help push my thinking and learning.
