My name is Jean-Luc Binder and I’m a 6’1” forward with the Michigan Jaguars 2005 U19 National Academy League (NAL) team.
I just returned home from England, where I was on the Exact Sports national roster, the Exact 11. It was an incredible experience and my Exact team won both our games. It was an incredible experience, as I was coached by Fulham FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC coaches, playing alongside some of the best U18 players in the US and England.
I just finished my senior season at Farmington High School in Farmington, MI. I led my high school team in scoring the past two seasons and was Team Captain this past season. I was honored by being named to the All-District team and All-Division team (Oakland Activities Association) for the second year in a row.
I believe my dedication, work ethic, athleticism, and speed will make me successful at the next level. I'm excited to have the opportunity to contribute to the success of a college program!
For me, soccer isn't just a sport, it's a lifestyle. I currently volunteer to coach soccer to inner city youth at Kings Catholic Central elementary school in Detroit, MI. My future aspirations are to pursue communications and marketing, so I may turn soccer into a lifelong career and be involved in expanding the popularity of this amazing sport in our country!
