Eli Riese '25 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer started at a young age in micro league.  Through the years my passion has only continued to grow for the game.  I love that it is a sport of unification that is played worldwide and knows no boundaries.  It’s a game of energy and athleticism but also strategy and technique.  I’ve learned how to relate and communicate with others, how to lose and deal with adversity, how to be a true teammate based on trusted relationships, how to win with humility and the emotional high of achieving a shared goal.  It is for all these reasons that I hope to continue my soccer career into college in a competitive environment while also pursuing my academic goals.  I am hardworking, resilient and focused and will bring these qualities to the pitch as well as the classroom.
