Jason Garwood '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Jason D. Garwood I'm a ambitious soccer player from South Plainfield NJ. I played on Elizabeth Spartans(Club) for 2 years and we completed at high level of play, playing in tournament such as: Delco Cup (PA) and Tuckahoe Cups (NJ), I also play on the South Plainfield high school team I've been on the varsity team for all four years and been/am captain for two years. With the experience of being captain it helped enhance my leadership skills not just on the field but also in school; I am also the school secretary and member of a club called Heroes and cool kids. One thing about me is I like helping people on my team to do the best they can, not even just on the field but also in the classroom because if everyone does their best the further we'll get as a unit. Finally with my leadership characteristic their also comes a hard worker because I don't like to lose and everything can become a competition for me. When it comes to the off-season I will be in the gym at least 4x a week; When it comes to school I will go to a teachers room or study extra at home to get a better grade on a assignment. Theirs just that thing that annoys me about losing and I know its inevitable but I will always try to push to prevent it in every aspect.
