Sean Mahoney '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sean Mahoney. I am midfielder that is looking to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level.  I pride myself on my work ethic and my ability to create scoring opportunites for my teammates through my passing, vision, and tenacity on defense. Those traits have led me to being named captain for my high school, club, and state ODP teams. In addition to being named All Conference (AAA) as a sophomore and All-County Honorable Mention (AAA) as a junior, I was one of 17 underclassmen named by Newsday in their Top 100 Players on Long Island feature last fall. I have twice been a member of the East Region ODP team and named to the East Region player pool on two other occassions.  I was selected to participate in the Capelli+ Prospect Showcase, as well as the andGO Sport Rising Recruits match and Executive Cup. 

I am looking for a school that will challenge me in the classroom and on the field and I intend to remain involved in the game of soccer after my playing career ends.
